UPDATED:

Atlanta's latest winter storm  has caused a slew of event cancellations.  So if you have tickets to a concert or a performance or had planned to visit an Atlanta attraction, chances are that there have been changes in the schedule.  Before venturing out, check with the venue about cancellations, refunds or rescheduling.

Here are the events that have been canceled or rescheduled:

Atlanta Ballet

Atlanta Ballet cancels Thursday night's performance of "Romeo & Juliette." Check out the AJC Arts and Culture blog for details on exchanges/refunds.

Atlanta Botanical Garden

The Atlanta Botanical Garden will be closed Thursday Feb. 13. atlantabotanicalgarden.org.

Atlanta History Center

Woodruff Arts Center

The High Museum of Art and the Woodruff Arts Center will be closed Thursday. www.high.org

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Thursday's ATL Symphony Musicians concert at Peachtree Road United Methodist, benefiting arts ed. at Drew Charter School, postponed. Date TBD.

Alliance Theater

Alliance Theatre's Thursday night performance of "Love and Warcraft" is cancelled. Tickets can be exchanged when the Woodruff Arts Center box office reopens: 404.733.5000.

Atlanta Contemporary Art Center

The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center will be closed Wednesday. www.thecontemporary.org

Atlanta Jewish Film Festival has cancelled all Wednesday screenings.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre

Thursday's opening night performance of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Ailey's much-anticipated Atlanta stop is to continue through Sunday. www.foxtheatre.org

Center for Puppetry Arts

Chattahoochee Nature Center

Roswell's Chattahoochee Nature Center has opened online registration tfor it's Spring Break Camp, concerned that staff would not be able to activate the site on Wednesday, as planned. Go to www.chattnaturecenter.org and click on Camp Kingfisher.

Core Performance Company

Jodi Usher and Theresa Pizzuto's Wednesday presentation on "The 'Dance' of Diversity" at Core Performance Company in Decatur has been postponed. www.coredance.org.

Cartersville's Booth Western Art Museum

Cartersville's Booth Western Art Museum is tentatively scheduled to open at 1 p.m. Thursday, The museum said it would reevaluate based on road conditions in the morning. 

Emory Arts

All  Emory Arts events are canceled  for Wednesday and Thursday. Fora full list visit: arts.emory.edu

Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium will be closed on Thursdar, Feb. 13. www.georgiaaquarium.org

Georgia Center for the Book

Horizon Theater

The Wednesday performance of THE BOOK CLUB PLAY is canceled due to inclement weather. Call 404.584.7450 to exchange tickets.

The Hudgens Center for the Arts

The Hudgens Center for the Arts in Duluth has canceled classes and other activities today.

Lauryn Hill at the Tabernacle

The Lauryn Hill concert slated for Thursday night has been moved to Monday, Feb. 17, because of the impending inclement weather. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.

Kai Lin Art Gallery

The Kai Lin Art Gallery will be closed on Wednesday


Kennesaw State University's Museum of History & Holocaust Education
Kennesaw State University's Museum of History & Holocaust Education has canceled a Tuesday talk by author Robert Weintraub, "The Victory Season: Baseball, World War II, and the Jewish Experience." Look for updates on a rescheduling at www.kennesaw.edu/historymuseum.

Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia is closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Ringling Bros. at Philips Arena

Ticket holders for the February 12th performance can exchange their tickets at the Philips Arena box office for one of the following performances:

  • Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m.

Roswell Roots Screening

The Roswell Roots screening of the documentary "3-Minute Activists: The Soul of Slam, " originally planned for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Aurora Cineplex, has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26. Aurora Cineplex is at 5100 Commerce Parkway, Roswell.

The film was shot during the 2013 Roswell Roots Poetry Slam. Roswell Roots is the North Fulton city's annual Black History Month celebration. 770-641-3705, www.roswellroots.com.

SkyView Atlanta

SkyView Atlanta is close Wednesday; intends to reopen at noon Thursday.

Underground Atlanta

Underground Atlanta will be closing at 3 p.m. Feb. 11.  It will be closed all day Wednesday  Feb. 12, and Thursday, Feb. 13. 
Underground will be open for regular hours  (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) Friday, Feb. 14.

UniverSoul Circus

UniverSoul Circus has rescheduled its opening night to Friday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 pm.  The circus will follow its regularly scheduled program through Sunday, March 2.

Ticket holders affected by the cancelations who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster will receive automatic notification with options to reschedule on another date, based on availability, or they can call 800-745-3000 to reschedule.
