Comedian and actor Keith ‘Shebada’ Ramsay in ‘Clash’ at Ferst Center

Atlantans will get a taste of Jamaica on Saturday when popular comedian and actor Keith “Shebada” Ramsay stars in the play “Clash.”

Ramsay, known simply as “Shebada,” is a popular actor in Jamaican and Caribbean plays and on the comedy circuit. The play will be one night only at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Georgia Tech Ferst Center for the Arts.

In “Clash,” Ramsay plays Rivers, the road manager of an up-and coming Jamaican artist. The play takes an entertaining look at Jamaica’s music industry, promoters, booking agents and dance hall artists.

Ramsay grew up in Franklin Town and went on to build a cult following in the Caribbean nation.

The play also stars Volier “Maffie” Johnson, Garfield “Bad Boy Trevor” Reid and Taunia Flowers.
