Actor Jon Polito, who appeared in over 100 films, has died. He was 65.

Polito was best known for his work with the Coen brothers. His best known films include, “Miller's Crossing” and “Barton Fink.”

Friend and film director John McNaughton broke the news of Polito’s death on his Facebook page. McNaughton called Polito a “born actor.”

Polito, a versatile performer, also appeared on television and in Broadway productions.
