Relax, Gyllenhaal fans. The actor is not unemployed, but his character Louis Bloom is job-hunting in the upcoming movie, “Nightcrawler.”
The clever film trailer is tucked inside a nondescript Craigslist ad. Titled, "Hard Worker Seeks Employment," the brief posting states, "My name is Louis Bloom. I'm looking for full-time employment. No job too big or too small. I have my own car and phone. Persistent, punctual, polite and hardworking. Will work nights."
A link to Bloom’s video resume is provided, which features clips from “Nightcrawler.”
In the movie, Gyllenhaal plays a crime reporter based in L.A. who gets caught up in the city’s crime scene.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gyllenhaal is producing "Nightcrawler," which stars Rene Russo and Bill Paxton. Dan Gilroy is the screenwriter and director. The film is set to be released Oct. 17.
