UPS’ CEO total pay declines

March 17, 2014

UPS Chief Executive Scott Davis received $10.3 million in total compensation in 2013, down nearly 15 percent, mostly due to a decline in the value of his pension.

The total compensation for Davis included a salary of nearly $1.08 million, up about $30,000 from 2012. Davis, who has been CEO of UPS since 2008, also received nearly $8.7 million in stock and options and $465,877 in incentives in 2013.

But the value of his pension declined, bringing the figure for total compensation down by nearly $1.5 million, along with a more than $440,000 decline in the value of his stock awards.

It’s the second year of a decline in total compensation for Davis, who saw the figure go from $13 million in 2011 to $12.1 million in 2012 and to $10.3 million in 2013.
