Matt Andrew, one of the founding members and former president of Moe's Southwest Grill, plans to expand his Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint into a thirty-restaurant chain. Ten of the 30 openings are planned for this year, and the units in development include locations in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Kentucky. The original Uncle Maddio's is located in the Toco Hill Shopping Center in Atlanta.

Andrew said Uncle Maddio's will offer hormone-free chicken, blue cheese crumbles and artichoke hearts, among dozens of other ingredients. The "fast casual" concept is designed to cook and deliver a pizza to the guest's table in six minutes.
