Top Workplaces nominating deadline extended to Nov. 18

You say you work for a great company with an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere. You say you have good benefits. You say your bosses are fair, sympathetic, understanding. Then why not share the good news? And, there’s still time to do it because the nomination deadline has been extended to Nov. 18.

In March, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution will publish its annual special section on the top workplaces of metro Atlanta, detailing the area’s best places to work, according to the people who know best —— the employees.

Last year, the top workplaces in the large, medium and small categories included Salesforce, Dorsey Alston, Realtors and and Baker Audio Visual.  The AJC recognized top leaders and companies that excelled in training, benefits and direction.

If you are proud of your workplace, and your company was not on last year’s list, we need your input. Anyone can nominate a company, including employees, executives and customers. Nominations are open to all businesses, including nonprofits, with at least 50 employees in a 17-county metro region. The counties are: Cherokee, Bartow, Carroll, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Coweta, Hall, Henry, Paulding, Rockdale and Walton.

To nominate your company, go to: ajc.com/go/nominate or call 404-671-9425.

Companies agreeing to participate will share with employees a survey designed by the AJC’s partner, Workplace Dynamics LLC, which will tabulate results.

Top-performing companies will be recognized in the report and in an online directory.
