Real estate developer Tishman Speyer has sold an iconic Buckhead office tower to a North Carolina-based firm.
The developer said Friday it sold Two Alliance Center to Highwoods Properties for $146.7 million, after subtracting about $6 million in closing costs. The 29-story building, which is about 90 percent leased, was completed in 2009.
The Raleigh-based company said it planned to spend about $800,000 in renovations to improve the building. Highlands chief executive Ed Fritsch called the tower “one of the best Class A office buildings in the southeast.”
