Six Flags Over Georgia says it will hire about 400 people to be “scare actors” and other cast members in its Halloween-themed attractions this fall – about 33 percent more than last year.
The first casting call is Saturday July 25 at the Jeannie T. Anderson Theatre at Cobb Civic Center on Marietta Parkway. Singers and dancers registration is at 10 a.m. Registration for scare actors, specialty actors and make-up artists is at 3 p.m.
More casting call dates will be announced in coming weeks, the Cobb theme park said. Workers must be at least 16 and should apply online at sixflagsjobs.com to be considered. Technicians, wardrobe assistants, stage managers and candidates who are unable to attend the casting calls may submit an audition tape and resume to SFOGcasting@sixflags.com
Those hired will be part of Six Flags’ Fright Fest, which includes “scare zones” around the park and other special events and attractions on selected nights from late September through October.
