Rollins Inc., the Atlanta-based pest control company that owns the Orkin brand, has acquired another Australian pest control company.

The deal to acquire assets and operations of Statewide Pest Management, based Shepparton in the southeastern state of Victoria, is expected to close by the end of the month. Financial terms were not disclosed. Rollins said Statewide also services parts of New South Wales.

In January, Rollins announced it had acquired Perth-based Allpest in western Australia, marking the company's first acquisition Down Under.

Rollins has been growing internationally, with several announcements last year of new franchises in various countries. In August, Orkin said it had established franchises in Erbil, Iraq, and Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.

In November, the company announced another Caribbean franchise deal, in St. Lucia.
