May 24, 2013

A fund controlled by CBRE Global Investors has acquired a landmark Dunwoody office tower, the company announced on Friday.

CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 6 acquired Three Ravinia, a 31-story building overlooking I-285 and Perimeter Mall. The buyer plans to enhance the building’s amenities and internal systems to address “near-term lease expiration risk,” according to a news release.

Colonial Properties Trust, the prior owner, said it sold the building for $144.3 million, according to a separate news release.

Colonial said the building was 92.1 percent occupied at the end of March.
