Atlanta-based PulteGroup said it has acquired the assets of Midwest homebuilder Dominion Homes.

Dominion Homes serves Columbus, Ohio, and Louisville and Lexington, Ky., PulteGroup plans to purchase move-up and entry-level homes in about 40 communities.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but PulteGroup said Dominion generated about $170 million in revenues last year and it expects the deal to be accretive to earnings.

PulteGroup, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, relocated to Atlanta from Detroit last year, bringing with it about 350 workers. The company’s headquarters building is at One Capital City Plaza on Peachtree Road in Buckhead.
