The Metro Atlanta Chamber has hired an executive to steer the newly launched regional marketing campaign known as Choose ATL.

Kate Atwood, a former executive director of the Arby’s Foundation, will serve in the new position of vice president of marketing. At a launch for Choose ATL in May, the chamber and regional leaders showed off a video series about culture and business climate as well as interviews with up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

The project will also provide communities with templates they can use to spotlight companies or attractions in their jurisdictions that match the Choose ATL branding.

MAC President and CEO Hala Moddelmog said the campaign “is focused on telling a comprehensive story about our region to attract and retain top talent.”
