Atlanta-based supply chain software firm Manhattan Associates posted a $19.7 million profit for the third quarter, saying its outlook for the future is positive amid a “generally tepid macro environment.”

The company’s September quarter profit amounted to $1.03 a share. That’s a nearly 43 percent improvement from its $13.8 million profit, or 71 cents a share, a year earlier.

Manhattan Associates reported $107.8 million in revenue in the quarter, up from $95.8 million in the same period of 2012.
