A Korean auto supplier plans to expand its operations in West Georgia and create 80 jobs over the next two years, state and company officials said Wednesday.

Hanil E Hwa plans to invest $5.5 million in the expansion in a building in the LaGrange Industrial Park, about 70 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta.

Hanil E Hwa, a Kia Motors supplier, launched operations in Georgia in 2010. It makes bumpers, panels and “interior systems” for Kia, according to a state news release.
