Sprouts Farmers Market coming
The Phoenix-based company, which specializes in organic food products, is entering metro Atlanta with four locations between June and September and is still seeking 500 full- and part-time employees locally, from clerks to store management positions. Comcast hiring military vets
Comcast, the pay TV and high-speed Internet service provider, said it is committed to hiring 1,000 veterans nationally by 2015 and will host a job fair next week in Stone Mountain toward that goal. The fair will be May 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1707 Lewis Way.
Comcast will provide information to veterans about career opportunities, teach resume development and help direct applicants to positions that are currently available, said the company, the nation’s largest video, high-speed Internet and phone provider to residential customers.

Correctional officers needed
The state Department of Corrections is looking to hire correctional officers for the Georgia Diagnostic & Classification Prison-Special Management Unit at a job fair Friday in Griffin. The fair will be held 9 a.m. to noon at the Griffin Career Center, 1514 Highway 16 W. Starting salary is $27,970. Applicants with military experience can be hired above the starting salary.
Pest control sales

The state Labor Department will hold a job fair May 29 for Perfetta, a business process outsourcing firm that is looking to hire 125 people. The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3100 Breckinridge Blvd Suite 200, Duluth. A minimum of six months of customer service experience is required.
