Skava, which creates and provides e-commerce, digital marketing and in-store sales technologies, opened its third U.S. office in Johns Creek.
The company has 250 employees world-wide and opened with seven in metro Atlanta, but a spokesman said it plans to double the Atlanta workforce by the end of the year. It will hire new workers from local applicants.
The office will serve as the innovation hub for in-store retail technologies. Skava serves some of the top retailers in America, including Staples, Gap and Sears. Skava also has offices in India and London.
“Atlanta has become a hub for some great digital innovation and having a strong presence in Atlanta will allow us to broaden our leadership in in-store retail technology and continue to innovate our retail solutions,” said Vivek Agrawal, the Vice President of Mobile and Emerging Technologies.
Agrawal mentioned the attractiveness of Georgia Tech and its talent as being one of the draws.
