French software firm moving North American HQ to Sandy Springs
A French software firm is moving its North American headquarters from New York to metro Atlanta.
Paris-based Arkadin said Monday it made the move - which will bring about 20 new jobs - to capitalize on the fast-growing region.
The company, which specializes in online conferencing software, will be leasing space at the Queen Building at the Concourse office complex in Sandy Springs. It plans to eventually expand the office to 50 staffers, specializing in finance, sales and marketing.
“Atlanta has a sizable talent pool to support our needs in all areas of our business, and its proximity to the largest airport in the U.S. is ideal for conducting business throughout North America,” said Mark Alexander, an Atlanta native who is president of the company’s North American operations.
