A New Jersey flooring company plans to expand its Morgan County operations and create 200 jobs over the next four years, according to a state news release.

Mannington Mills, whose products include vinyl and porcelain tile, laminate and hardwood flooring, plans to invest $50 million as part of the expansion. Wednesday’s announcement is in addition to a plan unveiled by Mannington a year ago to expand its facilities.

A news release from Gov. Nathan Deal’s office said Mannington plans to build a 550,000-square-foot plant as part of this latest move. Mannington was founded in 1915 and has about 2,200 employees worldwide.
