The chief executive of payments giant First Data is stepping down from his post for undisclosed health reasons, the company said Friday.
Jonathan Judge has served as the Sandy Springs-based payment processor’s top officer since late 2010. His departure date has not been announced, but the company said it expects Judge to leave the post no later than March 31.
Judge informed the company of his resignation Wednesday, the company said in a regulatory filing. He entered into a transitional retention agreement in which he will continue to receive compensation for 24 months, including twice his base pay and certain bonuses totaling $7.5 million, plus health benefits.
