The chief financial officer of Atlanta-based Equifax is retiring.

Lee Adrean, 62, will be replaced by 51-year-old John W. Gamble Jr. Since 2005, Gamble has been executive vice president and CFO of printer and document company Lexmark International.

In a statement, Equifax chairman and CEO Richard Smith said Gamble is “a seasoned executive whose financial track record with Fortune 500 companies is the ideal fit for Equifax.”

He also said Adrean “played an instrumental role in helping us successfully navigate the challenging recession, building a world-class finance team and delivering strong financial and operational management.”
