Lockheed Martin currently has 173 openings in Atlanta and Marrietta. Engineers, manufacturing support, project managers, assembly, senior administrative assistants; the positions run the gamut.
Georgia Power currently has 30 openings across the metro Atlanta region. Listings include a construction supervisor, engineers, technicians, marketing and accounting professionals, among others
Comcast is working with the Georgia Department of Labor to recruit 50 part-time telesales representatives to work in Alpharetta. The pay starts at $10.15 an hour and benefits include dental, health, vision, retirement, paid holidays and vacation as well as discounts on Comcast services.
The Georgia Department of Transportation is looking to fill 30 entry-level maintenance positions. The pay starts at $9 an hour and the jobs are all in metro Atlanta. All applicants must be 18 years old or older, have a high school diploma or a GED and have a valid Class C driver's license. New hires must obtain a Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within the first six months of employment.
Gentiva Health Services, which operates Kindred at Home currently has 76 openings in the Greater Atlanta region. This company has been providing home healthcare for 40 years. Current openings range from office managers, executive directors, nursing, physical therapists and a scheduler, among others.
Mohawk Industries has 40 manufacturing jobs at the company's various work sites located throughout Calhoun. Broken down by specific job title, Mohawk is looking to hire: 12 sewing machine operators, 12 press operators II, 12 press operator image transfer personnel and 5 tufting machine operators. There is no minimum education level or experience required for the sewing machine, press operator II or press operator image transfer positions, but a high school diploma / GED and six months of experience is required for tufting machine operators. Salary will be dependent on the position. There are additional jobs posted on the company's website for sales, truck drivers and management.
