U.S. Rep. David Scott, D-Atlanta, will host his 13th Annual Jobs Fair in April.
The free fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 1 at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park.
The Jobs Fair is teaming with the following federal and state agencies:
- U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) and Atlanta VA Medical Center to provide employment, health and benefits resources for veterans.
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) workshops, providing capital access, federal procurement and other resources.
- U.S. Office of Personnel and Management to conduct step-by-step training on finding and applying for Federal jobs (Navigating USAJOBS).
- HomeSafe Georgia to deliver on-site counseling to homeowners facing unemployment or underemployment while they seek new work.
Those attending are strongly encouraged to take MARTA to the Airport station and board the free ATL SkyTrain to the Convention Center or take MARTA to the College Park station and board a special MARTA bus shuttle to the event.
