'Raising Dion'

The Netflix sci-fi series follows the story of a widow (Aisha Wainwright) who raises her son Dion (Ja-Siah Young) after the death of her husband (Michael B. Jordan). Dion shows superhero-like abilities, and his mom must protect him from exploitation with the help of his best friend (Jason Ritter).

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being cast:

Pedestrians with cars – men and women who appear to be in their 20s-50s and have a bookable car/SUV that's not red, white or black

Creative interns – men and women who appear to be in their 20s-30s and have a Silicon Valley-type of look

When are they filming?

Filming is in Atlanta on Sept. 12.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $75 for eight hours.

How do I submit?

Send an email to raisingdion@centralcasting.com with "PEDESTRIANS WITH CARS" or "CREATIVE INTERNS" in the subject line. Include a clear photo(s) of yourself with no filters or black and white photography and list your name, contact number and current sizes. If you're submitting for the pedestrians role, attach a photo of your car and include its year, make and model.

A screengrab from video taken inside the Georgia Public Service Commission hearing room shows former PSC candidate Patty Durand appearing to pick up a copy of allegedly trade-secret information belonging to Georgia Power. The video later shows Durand put what police say was a different copy of a Georgia Power booklet into her purse and leave the room during a recess in a hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025.
