'Star'
Lee Daniels' Fox musical drama is now filming its second season. The series tells the story of a girl named Star (Jude Demorest) who travels to Atlanta with her sister Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and spoiled rich girl Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) to try to become famous as a girl group. Queen Latifah portrays Star and Simone's godmother.
What are they looking for?
The following roles are being cast:
"BOUNCERS" – males in their 20s to 40s of any ethnicity, with a nice, strong build. Experience preferred but not required.
"EVENT COORDINATORS" – men and women in their 20s to 30s, any ethnicity, to portray event coordinators and staff
"INDUSTRY TITANS" - men and women in their 20s to 30s, any ethnicity, to portray the entertainment industry's best and sharpest titans who are also well-dressed.
"GUESTS" – men and women in their 20s to 40s and of any ethnicity to portray guests who enjoy live music in a chill lounge environment
"LOOKIE LOO" – men and women who appear to be in their 20s to 50s, any ethnicity. You can submit even if you've worked as a neighbor before.
"BAD AND BOUGIE" – women who appear to be in their 20s to 30s, any ethnicity, to portray "baddies" at a loft/lounge scene
"EYE CANDY" – men who look to be in their 20s to 30s, any ethnicity, to portray hot guys at a loft/lounge scene.
When are they filming?
Bouncers and event coordinators will film on Nov. 9 in Atlanta. Industry titans, guests, bad and bougie and eye candy will film on Nov. 9 or on both Nov. 9 and 11. Lookie loo will film on Nov. 10.
For all roles, you should plan to be available all day.
How much does it pay?
Pay is $68 for eight hours.
