The City of Atlanta, the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) and Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church are partnering to host the Atlanta Career Expo on Thursday, May 26. The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Adamsville Recreation Center, 3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SW.
A wide range of employers, educational institutions and resource agencies will be part of the expo. Employers will be hiring for positions or discussing current and future job opportunities. Other organizations will provide educational and other helpful resources.
Some of the employers and organizations expected to participate include:
• Ark Family Counseling Center
• Department of Juvenile Justice

The expo is free and open to the public. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
Last year, more than 500 job seekers attended the expo. Many were hired as a result.
