The Georgia Department of Labor's North Metro Career Center, employers and other local organizations will co-sponsor the 7th Annual Labor of Love Career and Resource Expo 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Georgia International Convention Center.

Other sponsors include the City of College Park and Hosea Helps, a.k.a. Hosea Feed the Hungry, an organization established to feed the homeless and combat poverty.
The expo will feature a number of employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. Employers will be hiring or discussing current and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide education and additional resources.
The event is free and open to the public. Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
The GDOL is still enlisting employers and other expo participants, too. Those already registered to participate include: Allied Universal Security, Amazon, Areas USA, Avon Products, Brenau University, Central Michigan, CSL Plasma, Department of Juvenile Justice, DeVry University, Georgia State University Police, Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, Just US Opportunities, Primerica and Teachers R US Education Placement.
