Atlanta-based Digital Insurance, a provider of software and other resources that help companies manage employee benefits, said it is acquiring Ovation Benefits, a Farmington, Conn.-based employee benefits firm.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Digital Insurance said the deal is the company’s largest acquisition to date. Ovation will operate as part of Digital Insurance’s Digital Benefit Advisors division.
Last month, Digital Insurance said it had acquired TurnKey Benefits Inc. of Fort Mill, S.C., another employee benefits company. Financial terms of that deal also were not disclosed. TurnKey also is part of the DBA division.
“This new alliance will reshape the employee benefits landscape in Connecticut and strengthen our marketplace position throughout New England,” Chief Marketing Officer Mike Sullivan said of the deal with Ovation Benefits.
