DeKalb County's Northlake Mall has been sold to a Texas firm.

ATR Corinth Partners bought the mall at Lavista and Briarcliff roads in a deal that closed Jan. 30, company partner Tony Ruggeri said in an interview. Long term plans by the investor include future redevelopment, but what exactly will be done there Ruggeri said, will be determined by the market. ATR Corinth has experiencing bringing new merchants, restaurants and other uses to under-performing and aging malls.

Its redevelopment of a Nashville mall included adding clinics and office space for Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
