Les Jardins Apartment, a 160-unit complex on Henderson Mill Road in DeKalb County, has been sold to Atlanta-based RADCO Cos. for $9.37 million, the company announced Tuesday.

RADCO founder Norman Radow said the purchase was possible partly with funds from $93 million in private equity. The company specializes in acquiring distressed residential properties. The seller of Les Jardins was not immediately disclosed.

Radow said the complex will be renovated, and a former church at the entrance to the property become a clubhouse, leasing and amenity center.

Les Jardins’ name also will be changed to Ashford Embry Hills.
