Tech Town continues its growth momentum with the announcement of Dayton Children’s Hospital as the newest tenant. The hospital announced today it has executed a lease for 13,880 square feet that will relocate approximately 100 employees from Dayton Children’s information technology services division and other support functions to the Tech Town campus.

The transfer of employees from Dayton Children’s main campus has been driven by the Hospital’s plans to build an eight-story patient tower to be completed in 2017. Before construction can begin, some employees in support functions must be relocated to other locations on and off campus.

The growth of electronic medical record keeping and data demands of the health care sector was a factor in the decision to locate in a place with a technology focus.
