Real estate data and services firm CoStar Group plans to acquire Atlanta-based Apartment Finder for $170 million, CoStar said Wednesday in a news release.

CoStar, which already owns Apartments.com, plans to keep Apartment Finder as a standalone apartment search company. ApartmentFinder.com has about 13,400 listings on its website, the company said. The transaction is expected to close in 890 days.

“Over the past year we have transformed Apartments.com into one of the fastest growing industry websites, and we are excited to do the same for Apartment Finder,” CoStar Group Founder and CEO Andrew C. Florance said in a news release.
