CNN is expanding its Spanish-language programming to Miami, the company said Monday. WDFL-Channel 11 will broadcast CNN Latino programming from 3 to 11 p.m. beginning in August.

The programming, which CNN said is represents an alternative to traditional Hispanic networks, also will be available locally on Comcast Channel 18, AT&T U-Verse Channel 20, and Atlantic Broadband Channel 82.

Miami marks the seventh market for CNN Latino programming, which reaches one third of U.S. Hispanic homes and is already available in Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.

CNN Latino programming is provided by CNN en Español, the CNN business unit responsible for multi-media platforms serving Spanish-speaking audiences.
