An Atlanta-based real estate firm is developing a $39 million student housing complex at the University of Mississippi.

Carter said Monday it was teaming with Atlanta-based Chance Partners to develop The Highlands, which will house about 750 beds for students by July 2013.

It will feature a town square with about 15,000 square feet of retail, a large clubhouse and a mix of apartments, townhomes and cottages. It will also feature a coffee shop, three swimming pools and a car wash.
