Atlanta software company OneTrust said it expects to add 500 jobs locally over the next several years and to invest $5 million in a Fulton County expansion.
The company, which currently has about 200 employees in Atlanta, London, and other locations, including Asia, produces privacy management software that helps companies comply with privacy laws in various nations.
Gov. Nathan Deal and the company announced the expansion Thursday, which will include positions in sales, consulting, marketing and software engineering.
OneTrust is backed by the founders of two other Atlanta software firms, Manhattan Associates, which produces supply-chain software, and AirWatch, a mobile security company.
“Having previously built two successful technology companies in this city, I believe Atlanta has the top technology talent pool for building a leading, successful software company to serve our global customer base,” said Alan Dabbiere, co-chairman of OneTrust.
