A manufacturer of industrial bakery equipment is investing $4 million to expand operations in Gwinnett County, which will also lead to 65 new jobs.

AMF BakeTech said it will consolidate three existing Atlanta facilities into a new 63,000-square-foot building on Royal Woods Parkway in the Royal Atlanta Business Park in Tucker. The location will house the company’s engineering, operations, procurement, sales, and accounting departments.

Richmond, Va.-based AMF BakeTech makes ovens, conveyor systems and other industrial bakery equipment used in the large-scale production of sliced bread products. The company current employs 42, according to a spokeswoman.

“As we consolidate multiple facilities into one, we will now be able to further develop new products and operate more efficiently,” AMF BakeTech President Stephen Smith said in announcing the consolidation.
