COS ( short for Collection of Style ) has opened the first store in Atlanta at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta, 3035 Peachtree Road NE.

COS is part of the new mix of retailers at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta which offers an alternative to high-end designer stores such as Jimmy Choo, Hermes and Akris.

Other affordable luxury brands at the mixed-use development include Joie and Planet Blue, both So-Cal lifestyle brands with a laid back vibe. In addition, NARS cosmetics will open a boutique at the development in April.

COS, which launched in the UK, offers fashionable essentials and classics as well as seasonal looks for men, women and children.

Known for modern style at an affordable price point (though a bit higher than H&M), COS is one of six independent brands under the umbrella of the H&M group which also includes Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and & Other Stories.

The first COS store opened in the U.S. two years ago in Los Angeles. The 3,595 square feet store in Buckhead will be the brand's first location in the southeast.

“Buckhead Atlanta is a unique destination and is a great addition to our existing stores in the market. We hope our customers will continue to be happy with the brand, the collection and the new store,” said Marie Honda, Managing Director for COS in a statement.

The vast majority of the COS collection is womenswear with prices ranging from $20 for tops up to $450 for outerwear.

Menswear comes in at a similar price range while clothing and accessories for children is priced at under $50.

All COS clothing is designed in house by a team of designers and buyers in London. New merchandise arrives in-store and online each week.
