Summer means it is time for free movies in the park. With so many different events in the metro area, you can choose movies ranging from classic films to the latest blockbuster releases.
Here are just some of the free outdoor movie events happening in the area that have released their dates and lineups. Events that have yet to confirm the details are not listed.
The screenings generally begin at dusk (between 8 -9 p.m.) though some festivities may get started as early as 5 p.m with pre-movie activities such as musical performances, family fun and food trucks.
Some locations allow you to bring a picnic but check each event before you attend for any restrictions on food, alcohol, containers and weather cancellations.
