Atlanta-based TNT announced the fates of six dramas, renewing three for 2016 and killing three relatively young shows.

Gone:

Freshman show "Public Morals," a period police drama created by Ed Burns and new "Agent X," a Sharon Stone political thriller, did not break out of the gate ratings wise and were cut. Despite improved critical acclaim after a revamp, "Legends" is gone after two seasons. Of the three, "Agent X" drew the strongest ratings, averaging 1.7 million viewers, Live+3.

Surviving:

Veteran "Closer" spinoff show "Major Crimes" remains a sturdy performer and received its fifth season. Each episode averages 10 million viewers across all platforms.

Adventure drama "The Librarians" gets its third season, along with serialized crime drama "Murder in the First" starring Taye Diggs. Both shows reach about 5.5 million viewers per episode.

Two other shows have already been renewed: "Rizzoli & Isles" and "The Last Ship."

Three new shows have been announced for 2016: "Good Behavior," "Animal Kingdom" and "The Alienist." Those are all dramas greenlit by new management.
