It may be "off season" for "Real Housewives of Atlanta." But cast members still live their lives. Here's an update from my time on vacation the past two weeks.
NeNe Leakes won the Spike TV episode of "Lip Sync Battle" earlier this month against Todd Chrisley.
Chrisley played off his "girly" side by lip-syncing Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."
Leakes opted for two songs that represent her: "Respect" by Aretha Franklin and RuPaul's "Supermodel."
Leakes has also been invited to the White House Correspondents dinner by the Washington Blade, the nation's oldest LGBT newspaper, according to the Daily Mail.

Phaedra Parks has been fighting a former friend Angela Stanton in court in recent years over a tell-all book Stanton wrote in 2012 accusing Parks of being in cahoots with her husband Apollo Nida, who landed in prison many years ago for fraud. After he got out in 2009, they married and he proceeded to go back into white-collar crime that landed him in prison yet again in 2014, where he will be for eight years. All along, Parks has denied any knowledge of Apollo's activities until the Feds sussed them out.
Parks sued Stanton for libel. Stanton counter sued. Parks has worked hard to drag the legal process out. According to Tamara Tattles , who has followed the case closely, a new court date is set in May.

Kim Fields has survived ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" competition into week six, outlasting four dancers to date.
But after Doug Flutie's departure, that leaves only decent dancers. She is going to have a much tougher slog from here on out to make it further, but she is clearly loving the competition. Hopefully her fans will keep her around longer.
Her average judges' score to date of 21.8 is tied for seventh among eight dancers with NFL player Von Miller.
She landed a couple of 6s week five during "switch up" week with pro dancer Keo Motsepe, who was very upset by the critiques. But Fields bounced back with her jive to "Hairspray's" "You Can't Stop the Beat" with her original partner Sasha Farber during film week.
She has stress fractures in her foot but insisted that Farber not cut back on the choreography. Both Len Goodman and Bruno Toriolo loved it. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said it was a smidge too low energy for her but all the judges gave her 8s.
In the meantime, she remains undecided about returning to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for a second season, various media reports say. She had told one media outlet last month that she was "done" with the show but now appears to have had second thoughts.
She has some time to make a decision. The show usually doesn't start taping its new season until June or July.

Peter Thomas and his wife Cynthia Bailey are being sued by a patron of Thomas' Charlotte bar Sports One. Brandon Link said he received a concussion in a fight with Thomas. The criminal case was dismissed after authorities viewed the video, which you can see at TMZ.
The man has filed a civil case now claiming video footage was doctored by Thomas or his staff to make it so he appeared innocent. He is seeking $225,000 in damages. Could this be a money grab or something legitimate? Thomas thinks it's the former, of course.
