I am actually feeling bad for the producers and editors of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” They are seriously groping for interesting material each week. This week was a prelude to the final “big” trip of the season to Tokyo and as usual, there isn’t much for them to work with.

The good news for me: my recaps are becoming super short.

Last week’s Porsha-Kandi dust up settled rather quickly, so much so, the ladies even stayed at the party, just ignored each other.

Porsha met with her therapist to talk about her trust issues and fears she will become subsumed by her new relationship in an unhealthy way. She recalled not being herself with her first husband Kordell and Kandi triggered some bad memories for her. She saw Dennis’ ex at that party and it made her upset.

She thought she and Dennis had made an agreement to cut ties with exes. But Dennis and Sherry, his ex, were still texting. That made her understandably nervous.

He kept insisting his ex was texting him and it was totally innocuous.  He even showed her the texts. And based on his behavior, it was probably 100% innocent. When she confronted him, he apologized. But did he clearly promise to cut ties with all exes? I wasn’t clear.

Still, for Porsha - now pregnant with his child - to feel truly safe, she needs some very clear boundaries regarding his past girlfriends. Let’s hope Dennis can be the man Porsha deserves.

Mike Hill passes the inquisition: Cynthia's boyfriend finally meets with three of the "Real Housewives' ladies: Marlo Hampton, Eva Marcille and Kandi Burruss. Cynthia wanted him to take questions to ensure the gossip game doesn't run wild and he was game. "I'm Hill, not Will," he said, referencing Cynthia's past boyfriend, who was grilled about his dating life last season. Mark, a journalist by trades, had no problems handling questions when the tables were turned and passed with flying colors.

Wild-n-out?: Kandi is planning a burleque/sex dungeon show. She is basically making hay of a rumor two seasons ago that she had a sex dungeon, a false rumor spread by Phaedra Parks through Porsha that led to Phaedra's departure from the show. She asked Shamari to be part of the show and she seemed cool with it.

Was Eva shady? Porsha tried to push Eva into acknowledging that she was being shady by calling Cynthia the "mother" of models in the past, effectively saying she was (gasp!) older than her. But when they showed the tape, it struck me as the mildest of shade if you could even call it that. As Kandi noted, it seemed like Porsha was trying to create something out of barely anything and it was ironic given how hard it was for Porsha to own up to her own actions.

Poor NeNe: She had been under a lot of stress dealing with her husband Gregg after his cancer scare. She said she bottled stuff up but she finally cracked the day of Gregg's birthday party. She told one of Gregg's family members about falling apart but the RHOA cameras didn't capture it. Bottom line: being a caretaker can be super difficult.
