Rock 100.5 morning host "Southside" Steve Rickman turns 50 and Rock 100.5 is hosting a party this Saturday at Wild Bill's to celebrate. It's only $10 to get in so I expect it will be packed. (Buy tickets here in advance.)

Three bands will be there: an AC/DC cover band Back 'n Black, Rickman's favorite Journey cover band Departure and a Southern rock cover band Convoy (which does not actually play the song "Convoy.")

Expect many of his buddies to show up, including Jesse James Dupree of Jackyl and the always entertaining John Rocker.  While wife Amanda of one year will certainly be there, some of his 419 past conquests may pop in as well. You never know...

Streetz 94.'s second annal Streetzfest will feature Meek Mill, Yo Gotti and Rich Homie Quan, among others,  on Saturday, April 18 at The Masquerade Music Park.

Other acts include Kevin Gates, Travis Porter and Young DolphStreetzfest 2k14 sold out a week prior to show date. This year's fest is on pace to sell out even sooner than last year, the station said.

For years, the once big-time alternative rock station 99X would host a weekly Sunday Park Tavern concert series. Now Radio 105.7 is resurrecting that promotion on April 26 at 7 p.m. at the Midtown venue by Piedmont Park.

The first night will feature California rock band Bad Suns, Atlanta-based indie-alt band The Electric Sons and the award-winning indie band Kiev.

Additional confirmed artists booked for Sunset Sessions by  The Bowery Presents South include:  Mother Falcon (5/3); Boogie (5/10); Those Darlins (5/17); Kebbi Williams & The Wolfpack (5/24; Ivan & Alyosha (5/31); Pigpen Theatre Company (6/7); The Whigs (6/21); Caroline Rose (6/28); and Little Tybee (6/28).
