CNN is hosting a town hall next month featuring ousted FBI director James Comey, who is releasing a new book. The live, hour-long event is set for Wednesday, April 25 at William and Mary University in Williamsburg, VA.
Anderson Cooper will moderate.
Topics to be discussed: Comey's FBI career, his public firing and the high profile cases he oversaw including the bureau’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation and potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Comey's book "A Higher Loyalty" comes out April 17. He is scheduled to talk to ABC's George Stephanapoulos April 15, then Jake Tapper of CNN April 17.

IFC has renewed "Brockmire" for two more seasons in advance of its second season. That's a highly unusual and very generous move for this comedy starring Hank Azaria as a boozy, quirky baseball broadcaster.
Season two begins April 25. It's been shot in metro Atlanta but is set in New Orleans, where Azaria's Brockmire gets a new job. (They did shoot a few scenes in the French Quarter. Hard to replicate that on a budget in Atlanta!)
Seasons three and four will air in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Fish 104.7 morning host Kevin Avery earlier this week raised $1,600 for famine relief in Africa at a coffee shop in Kennesaw Tinto's where his daughter works.
Dozens of fans of the station came by on a busy Monday afternoon. He played greeter. Carriage Kia guaranteed up to $500 on top of tips people provided as donations for Cross International.
While some radio hosts are shy introverts off air, Avery is a natural conversationalist, greeting fans with a smile and a kind word.
The Fish held a day-long fundraiser for the organization, raising a whopping $334,000 in total.
