The partnership between Atlanta's Tyler Perry and TV icon Oprah Winfrey on OWN continues to thrive: all four Atlanta-produced Perry series on the network have been given orders for new episodes, totaling 87 among them.
- OWN's most popular show "The Haves and the Have Notes" is guaranteed a third season of 23 one-hour episodes. The show brings in more than 3 million overnight viewers, not counting multi-day DVR usage.
- The new drama "If Love You Is Wrong" received an option pick up for 22 more episodes of season one on top of the existing 20. (It all adds up to one very long "first" season.) The show averages 1.7 million viewers and is trending upward.
- Sitcom "Love Thy Neighbor" receives 22 more episodes for a third season. It brings in about 900,000 viewers.
- Comedy "For Better Or Worse," which aired its first three seasons on TBS, will get a fifth seasons and 20 more episodes. It hauls in one million viewers.
As a press release noted, these four shows have helped propel Oprah's network into the top 25 among women 25 to 54.
