Season 9 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has featured two divorces, a rumored sex dungeons, a violent boyfriend, lesbian kisses between two castmates and something called a "baby nup."

So Bravo is airing not three, but four reunion episodes starting April 16, 2017 and will finish up on May 7.  The regular season finale is this Sunday, the 20th episode of the year.

In other words, there was so much drama, the producers were able to generate more than enough material. Season one, Andy Cohen & Co. aired a single reunion episode. Seasons two through four merited two reunion episodes. That was stretched to three from seasons five through eight.

The reunion shows were taped in one marathon day last month at the Biltmore in Midtown.

Kandi Burruss has been the focal point of much of the confrontations between Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams, who are now "frick" and 'frack" friends. She told me last month how much she was not looking forward to the reunions for that very reason.

Kenya Moore will rehash her volatile relationship with Matt Jordan, who was not invited to the reunion given his anger issues. In the trailer, a fan asked when she'll have a "real" relationship and not "hire actors." (Ouch!). "Truth tea, b****!" Porsha cracked.

He gets Phaedra to discuss why she hid from spreading rumors regarding Kandi. "You got caught in a megawatt lie!" Andy said.

Andy confronts Bob Whitfield about domestic violence against Sheree Whitfield.

Then things get really ugly when Kandi becomes angry over Porsha's accusations that Kandi wanted to "rape" her. Soon, the women all go to separate rooms and production grinds to a halt.

Here are details of each episode, as provided by Bravo:

In part two of the reunion airing Sunday, April 23 at 8pm ET/PT , Kenya reflects on her complicated relationship with Matt and confirms the status of where things stand today. Phaedra gives updates on the status of her divorce with Apollo and brings proof to make her case. Shereé calls out Kenya for constantly adding fuel to the fire and in an emotional confession, Shereé reveals more heartbreaking details surrounding her tumultuous marriage with Bob.

In part three of the reunion airing Sunday, April 30 at 8pm ET/PT, the men join the conversation to weigh in on the drama of the season – including Bob addressing his shortcomings in his relationship with Shereé, and Todd revealing he still has a bone to pick with Phaedra. Cynthia and Peter reveal what life has been like post-divorce and Shamea sits down with the ladies to confront her BFF Porsha, raising questions about Porsha's budding friendship with Phaedra. As the conversation turns to issues surrounding "Lesbiangate," friendships are shaken like never before.

Part four of the reunion airs on Sunday, May 7 at 8pm ET/PT , diving into the aftermath of the "Lesbiangate" drama. The cameras go beyond the curtain to capture behind-the-scenes moments, tears and tense conversations as the ladies try to recover from a painful realization to see if there is any chance of moving forward after an explosive season.
