Remember NeNe Leakes on "Real Housewives" getting angry at Cynthia Bailey's husband Peter Thomas for getting in "women's business?" That actually led to the dissolution of her friendship with Cynthia after NeNe called Peter a "b*tch."

Gender lesson: men should not get in the middle of women's arguments.

Tony Vick and Kirk Frost on "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" clearly missed the memo. They decided to wade into dangerous territory trying to "help" their ladies fix their broken friendship.

Last week, Kalenna Harper (Tony's boo) and Rasheeda (Kirk's wife) had a falling out. Tony and Kirk thought by surprising them with a "double date," they could work out their issues.

Ambushing? Not a good idea for anybody, no matter how good the intentions.

"Epic fail," Rasheeda said, thinking this would be a simple romantic date.

Tony stirred his wife's anger up even more by mentioning his theory she is suffering from post-partum depression in front of Rasheeda and Kirk. She also was stunned when Tony identified the couple as  godparents to their infant son.

"I'm not ready to make up," whined Kalenna. Plus, she later told cameras that she felt her husband was not helping her, but "throwing me under the bus with these people."

After Kirk began lecturing her, she became even more upset. "I can't believe the one person who is supposed to have my back did me like that," she said, placing the blame squarely on her husband.

The two guys step away for a moment to let the ladies hash things out. Instead, they hurl insults at each other.

Epic fail indeed.

In other storylines, there is a lot of breaking up going on.

Yung Joc dumps Miss Piggy. The rapper with many many baby's mamas finds out Khadiyah (Miss Piggy) got into it with two of his exes, Karlie Redd and Sina. They had set Piggy up last week to show up at an event Karlie was hosting and after a standard array of insults, Karlie threw water in Piggy's face. Karlie's ratchetness upset Karlie's boyfriend Lyfe Jennings. (He shows up on camera for the first time, lecturing her about placing him in a dangerous position of having to defend her.) Piggy is upset that Sina had accused her of having a fake pregnancy, a rumor she could have only gotten from Joc. She feels betrayed yet again. Joc said he liked Piggy when she was the side chick to Karlie. Now that she's the lead, he finds her annoying and they break up.

Joseline dumps another girlfriend. Joseline can't seem to keep lady friends thanks partly to her rampant jealousy and pettiness. Margeaux is angry about the little stunt Stevie J pulled last week where he deceived her into a magazine shoot without her knowledge he was involved. (As noted last week, Stevie J did this to get back at Margeaux's hubby Nikko.) Margeaux demands $10,000 for the magazine cover. Obviously, this is not journalism the way I know journalism. That's... advertising! She said she never signed a release and goes to Stevie J to get him to pay up. He denies being sneaky but she sees right through him. He has no desire to give her a penny. "I'll give you ten - ten seconds to leave," he said. She said she'd sue if he used the photos without her permission.

Bambi dumps Scrappy. Bambi, invisible this season until last week, gets a gig as a video vixen in a music video starring Laudie, a recording artist. She didn't bother telling Scrappy, her boyfriend of two years. When he finds out, he's a wee bit upset. "How my lady is in a video and I didn't know it?" he said. She then gets mad at Rasheeda for telling him. Bambi didn't bother telling him because she is resentful that she had subsumed her life for Scrappy's career. "I'm going to just do me," she said, "til you get your s*** together." She then breaks up with him. "Come back when you get a bigger ring," she noted before her exit. Given how this story line came out of nowhere, it's either completely manufactured or the editors of "Love and Hip Hop" found the issues leading up to this too boring to air.
