Last year, a film starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton called "The Other Woman" features three women who find out the man is cheating on all three of them. So they gather and have revenge on the dude.

That's the basic premise of Oxygen's reality program "Player Gets Played," which is in its first season and airs the latest episode tonight (Wednesday, July 22) at 9 p.m.

Xavier is the metro Atlanta playboy who thinks he can juggle three women effortlessly.

I spoke with Ashley Stewart, who is the primary driver in tonight's episode. She is 22, works in retail and lives in Marietta. She met Xavier online on a dating site called Plenty of Fish. He actually heard about a show in which they feature folks who date online and he wanted to be part of it. He didn't know the actual premise of the show.

At first after Ashley and Xavier met, everything was great. "He really acted like a gentleman," she said. "We just clicked so well. He made me laugh. He seemed like a genuine guy back then."

After six weeks and seeing him three or four times a week, he became busier and she began seeing him less often. He'd make excuses of being in school or work or "in the studio," meaning a music studio. His profession? Kind of amorphous.

The show got her a private investigator once she became suspicious of his behavior. That's when the evidence made it clear he was seeing two other women. She meets with those two women and the come up with a plan. The video below shows them talking about Xavier.

"I feel like more relieved now that I know the truth," said Ashley, who remains single for now. "When I was going through it, I felt very embarrassed."

I have no idea how this will play out having not seen the episode but surely Xavier will get his comeuppance.

Why would he even allow his name and face to be shown on a show like this? Possibly, he will be flattered that women cared enough to get together and try to torture him. Maybe he'll take this as a badge of honor and continue to act this way as long as he can get away with it. Or optimistically, he'll change his stripes.
