Carrie Underwood has been singing songs for NFL's Sunday Night Football for years.
This fall, she is doing a new version of her hit duet with Miranda Lambert "Something Bad" with revised lyrics for the NFL. Here's the original, which hit No. 1 in 2014 on the country chart.
For 10 years, the network has used a revised version of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself For Lovin' You" called "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." Pink, Faith Hill, then Underwood herself sang it.
"The song had lasted 10 years, but I didn't know how much more we could stay with the song without it feeling routine," Fred Gaudelli, the executive producer of Sunday Night Football, told the Associated Press.
This was Faith Hill's version:

Adam Lambert will be a judge on "The X Factor" in Australia for season eight.
"I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest," Lambert told the Australian Telegraph. "Australia has always been one of my favorite places to tour. The Aussies I've met are so kind and good humored -- so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is exciting."
He subbed in for Keith Urban briefly season 14 for "American Idol" and helped shepherd through eventual winner Nick Fradiani and third-place finisher Jax. He was the first former "Idol" to judge. He also saw crooner Sal Valentinetti, who didn't make it out of Hollywood that season but re-appeared on "America's Got Talent' this season.
Someone posted the entire "Idol" episode featuring Lambert on YouTube. (I guess Fox doesn't really care anymore at this point.) I"m re-watching this episode. Makes me miss the show. Sniff.
