Eva Marcille joins 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' as a 'friend' season 10

US Weekly reports that actress and former Clark Atlanta University student Eva Marcille will appear on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" as a "friend" season 10.

This means that she will be on a few episodes though the extent of how much she shows up is based on what story lines the producers choose to focus on. Some seasons, the "friends" get plenty of airtime like Marlo Hampton season four but Demetria McKinney season seven practically disappeared into the ether.

"I'm so excited to join NeNe [Leakes] and the ladies for the 10th season of 'RHOA,' Marchille told Us. "Atlanta and America, get ready!"

Marcille, 32, broke it big on "America's Next Top Model" in 2004 and has since done a fair share of acting. She has starred in TV One's comedy "Born Again Virgin" in 2015 and 2016 and a short-lived reality show "About the Business."

The show returns November 5 at 8 p.m.
