Recently retired NBA superstar Dwyane Wade has signed a multi-year deal with WarnerMedia and will become an analyst and commentator for TNT's basketball coverage out of Atlanta.

On Tuesdays, he will work alongside his former Miami Heat mate Shaquille O'Neal and WNBA star Candace Parker at Turner's main Midtown Techwood campus.

He will also appear in studio for the  NCAA Final Four and National Championship as part of Turner Sports and CBS Sports' coverage in March.

WarnerMedia sports and news boss Jeff Zucker dubbed Wade a "transcendent star" with an "engaging and thoughtful personality."

Wade, 37,  retired after 16 seasons in April and is married to actress Gabrielle Union.

Former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy was recently hired as an analyst on TNT's Tuesday night broadcasts.
